In 2007, Parenteau Graves worked with the Minnesota Fringe Festival to develop a strategic plan to stabilize and grow the festival. In 2010, having accomplished many of its goals and setting attendance and donation records, the Fringe returned to Parenteau Graves to ask us to lead the updating of the strategic plan. The focus of the planning is on defining what growth and success mean in today’s economic and artistic climate. Staff, board and artists are all involved in the planning process for an organization that now is the largest non-juried fringe festival in the country.
Parenteau Graves took us through efficient, thoughtful and productive exercises that allowed us to shape a coherent vision for our future from a wide range of individual opinions and priorities. And, most importantly, they took the next step and helped us create an operations plan to enable us to actually achieve that vision. — Robin Gillette, Executive Director Minnesota Fringe Festival
